The All Aboard Learn to Read app is designed to make daily reading practice more smoothly and enjoyable at home. It scaffolds the decoding experience so that stress levels are kept low – for parent and learner!
The app is built around a core phonics progression that layers learning letter by letter and sound by sound. Each chunk of phonics knowledge is delivered through a selection of games that both teach and test skills before advancing.
The lessons are capped at 10-minutes, which is both ideal for the way the brain likes to learn… and ideal for parents looking to manage screen time in the household.
Optional Pro Subscription Digital Library
The app has an optional pro subscription which unlocks a digital library of decodable books. These are stacked sequentially: as children learn more sounds, those sounds are added into the daily reading. This takes so much frustration out of sourcing early reader books – most of which are either far too advanced or totally boring.
